Do you have a favorite neighborhood tree? Would you like to learn more about the care and planting of community trees, management of our urban forest, and how trees are incorporated into restoration projects? Want to learn if you qualify for a free tree from the state? Are you interested in learning more about the DCR Legacy Tree Program? Tree experts will discuss all of these topics and more in a panel discussion. This event is cosponsored by Thomas Crane Public Library (TCPL) and Quincy Tree Alliance (QTA). It will also be LIVESTREAMED to our YouTube channel.
Participating in the panel will be Dan Cathcart (Quincy's new Tree Warden), Heather Charles Lis (an environmental scientist for the City of Quincy), and Ryan Fawcett (urban forester from the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation). A member of Quincy Tree Alliance will be a moderator for the event. Please join us for this event and learn more about the wonderful trees of Quincy and the dedicated people who work to care for and protect them.
