There is no better place to celebrate Presidents Day weekend than in the City of Presidents! Quincy’s Winterfest offers fun for the whole family on Saturday, February 15th from 12pm-5pm. With outdoor interactive experiences, live music, and special performances, there is something for everyone!
The Hancock-Adams Common will house tents featuring different activities, such as two unique “Escape the Tent” experiences for all ages, created by Quincy’s own Passcode Escape Room; the experiences will be themed around John Adams and John Quincy Adams, as well as the broader history of Quincy. The Blue Hills Trailside Museum will be on hand with an Animal Station, featuring native wildlife handled by a trained naturalist who will be able to give brief talks and answer questions about each animal and allow for photos.
Winterfest will heat up with fire shows from Sasha the Fire Gypsy in the afternoon, and live music from The Van Burens and a 215th Army Band Ensemble. Kids can meet their favorite costumed winter princesses and other characters and watch a puppet show in The Church of Presidents presented by The Puppet Show Place. Enjoy the Mobile Video Game Theater, game tent featuring foosball, basketball, and beanbag toss, and outdoor raceway with remote control racetracks! Drinks will be available for purchase from Hive Beer & Wine Truck, including hot cocoa and cider (available spiked!).
Cost: FREE!
