The Irish Cultural Centre of Greater Boston in Canton is hosting the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) teams from Queen’s University on Saturday, June 15 and Sunday, June 16. This is the first time Queen’s University’s GAA teams have embarked on this kind of tour in more than 40 years! This is an exciting opportunity for local families and enthusiasts to be a part of a historic match at the ICC and enjoy some Gaelic football!
The full weekend schedule is as follows:
Saturday, June 15:
12:45pm - Boston Police Gaelic Column march around the pitch with the Ladies and then National Anthems
1pm - Queen’s Women vs. USGAA Select Women (At the ICC’s A Field)
2:45pm - Boston Police Gaelic Column march around the pitch with Men's teams then National Anthems
3pm - Queen’s Men vs. USGAA Select Men (At the ICC’s A field)
6pm - Reception/Dinner in the ICC Tent, followed by opening tent to all with Strawberry Hill Band
Sunday, June 16:
12:00-1:30 – Queen’s is hosting a Kids’ Camp at the ICC
Followed by a watch party of the GAA games
Evening - Party in the tent that evening celebrating a successful weekend!
