For 2018 PuppetPalooza is pleased to have collaborated with the Puppet Showplace Theater to provide both a professional development opportunity to develop new work by puppet artists and to present this work free to the public.


Great for kids and adults and all free.


This year's series is supported by a generous grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.

Since 2013, Puppet Palooza has been a collaborative event series designed to bring the art of puppetry to East Somerville in unexpected places. This year, in collaboration with the Puppet Showplace Theater in Brookline, we are pleased to expand our vision of this series to help foster original new works designed for outdoor settings. With support from the National Endowment for the Arts, participating companies have had the opportunity to work with Jana Zeller, a highly accomplished puppeteer from Sandglass Theater in Vermont. Join us in East Somerville for two nights of performances showcasing the outcomes of these emerging works. Great for kids and adults and 100% free.
