For 50 years, the first Sunday in May has been a call to action for residents of Massachusetts. Project Bread’s Walk for Hunger is both the oldest single day of community action against hunger in the country. On May 6, 2018, join your neighbors on Boston Common for the 50th Walk for Hunger, an annual fundraiser and demonstration of our state’s unified commitment to ending hunger.
Invisible, yet pervasive. Hunger impacts the lives of over 726,000 Massachusetts residents. It threatens the health and futures of 1 In 7 children in our state. But hunger is solvable, and the Walk funds hundreds of local programs across the state that provide multi-faceted solutions.
Together, we walk to send a powerful message about hunger. We see the people it hurts. Through the Walk, we will break down stigmas, and we won’t wait for change—we will create it.
Join us for the 50th. Make hunger history.
All participants (Walkers, Runners & Volunteers) must register for this event at www.projectbread.org/walk.
