Burlesque is also exciting, empowering, and a great exercise. Suitable for performers of all shapes, sizes, and experience levels, this workshop for women only introduces the basic building blocks of vintage-style burlesque. You will learn dance moves and techniques for handling classic clothing elements such as gloves, boas, and stockings. Leave with everything you need to put on your burlesque performance, whether on stage or in private. Instructor, Betty Blaize

This class will meet in-person at CCAE. Please view our In-Person Class Guidelines prior to enrolling. Burlesque is a creative dance form that encourages inner empowerment and sensuality while reconnecting the participants with their own bodies. This 90-minute workshop taught by members of the award-winning BeauTease burlesque troupe teaches the fundamentals of this creative art form in a fun, supportive environment. Students of all levels of experience and all body types are welcome to attend and accommodations can be made for those with limited mobility.
