On June 20th from 7-10PM (EST), Aeronaut, with support from Queers with Beers & Zone 3, hosts a night of live music-- celebrating all things PRIDE! Tickets are donation-based (not required, but encouraged!) and proceeds will be given to Pride (Inside)--who are donating equally among six amazing organizations such as, Black Aids Institute, Black Trans Advocacy Coalition, RAICES, SAGE, The Bail Project, and Black Visions Collective.
Donate $20 or more? Send us your receipt and we'll hook you up with a free small pour of beer once the taproom doors open! The event will be broadcasted on Aeronaut's FB page and therefore registration is not required but we appreciate all donations!
-----LINEUP -----
We have an amazing lineup of local queer and ally musicians such as IZZY HELTAI, JESSYE DESILVA, PAPER CITIZEN, SADIE GUSTAFSON-ZOOK, and our headliner for the evening, OOMPA! Read on for full artist bios and we'll see you on the 20th!
OOMPA // a nationally-acclaimed, Boston-born, poet, rapper, and educator, who is forever representing the queer, black, orphaned, hood kids n’ them. Her engaging, interactive performing style won her the Boston Music Award for Live Act of the Year in 2019, following her 2018 Unsigned Artist of the Year victory among an unprecedented 12 total nominations.
IZZY HELTAI // an indie-folk singer-songwriter who puts a unique twist on traditional story-telling. Through songs that draw from personal stories to address broader universal truths, Izzy connects deeply with his listeners. Izzy’s latest release, Only Yesterday (April 2019) draws inspiration from the natural beauty of his native Western Massachusetts, his lived experiences, and stories from his community.
PAPER CITIZEN // a Boston-based indie rock project by songwriter and producer, Claire Gohst. 'Beantown sprouted indie rock bringing you crisp vocals, spacious guitars, organic beats and smooth keys.' The project performs regularly as a trio in the Boston area, with Colin Fleming on Drums and Theo Brierly on Bass.
JESSYE DESILVA // a singer songwriter and "piano-wielding folk rock witch" currently living in Boston, MA. Jessye's lyrically-sophisticated songs stare issues of mental health, religion, queer love, and gender identity in the face, offering listeners a candid look inside in the hopes of connecting with their own experiences.
SADIE GUSTAFSON-ZOOK // a versatile singer, intricate guitar player, and contagious songwriter. Her pure voice and hummable melodies balance with witty lyrics to create charmingly honest and relatable music. Oregon-born, Indiana-grown and Boston-based, Sadie has brought her lovable stories and songs to audiences across the country, in homes, renowned folk venues, and festivals including Club Passim, The Purple Fiddle, Radio Bean, Walnut Valley Festival, Red Wing Roots, and more.
