This event has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.
Please join us virtually March 30 for a dialogue between two Lesley University alumni Dr. Martin Pierre and Dr. Brandon Jones on "Racism and Mental Health: Reflections on Black Men's Mental Health Needs in the Face of COVID-19, Racism and Police Brutality"
Doctors Pierre and Jones discuss their lived experiences as Black men "making it" in environments riddled with systemic oppression, antiblackness, and the policing of Black bodies. By situating their narratives within a structural context, the facilitators hope to model approaches for interrogating the oppressive systems that shape our lives. By inviting critical self-reflection, the facilitators hope to nourish participants' commitment to transformational change within the Lesley University community.
