This year, the June Fox Lecture Series has teamed up with Lesley's Community of Scholars Day to present Dr. Meryl Alper, whose presentation will focus on universal design for learning. Her talk is titled "Digital Media, Disability, and Youth: Opportunities for Learning, Voice, and Society."
The evening will also include a presentation of the June Fox Scholarship Award, given to a student in one of Lesley's teacher residency programs, and two book awards that honor former deans William Dandridge and Mario Borunda.
The event will end with a reception and Dr. Alper signing her book Giving Voice, which will be available for purchase.
