Pop-up dinner event at Neal and Kate’s home in Dedham. It’s summer, enjoy on the patio amazing Peruvian cuisine cooked by Chef Jose Barriga, Peruvian-American, Le Cordon Bleu LA trained chef and founder / director of the Cambridge Food Lab. Kate, an international security expert, nurse, mother and cofounder of D2 Northeast will curate a conversation about navigating life with hope in the midst of changes…both chosen and unchosen. Limited to thirty-two guests. Your seat at this event is not guaranteed until you receive a final confirmation email.
Jose's menu:
o Peruvian Fish Ceviche: Fish Ceviche is the quintessential dish of Peruvian cuisine! Raw fish, marinated in freshly squeezed lime or lemon juice, with sliced onions, chili peppers, salt and pepper.
o Quinoa stew (vegetarian/vegan): Cooked quinoa (native to Peru) in garlic and onions sauce mixed with potatoes and veggies.
o Salsa Criolla: onions and tomatoes marinated in lemon and (optionally) garnished with cilantro.
o Orange salad (Dessert): oranges, lime, sugar, and cinnamon.
