Performing a 2:30 p.m. matinee in the Shed on Sunday, June 30 as part of their Mettavolution tour, Mexican acoustic rock guitar duo Rodrigo y Gabriela has over their 20-year-long career blended the sounds of metal, jazz, and Hispanic roots music in their own unique, unmistakable style. In demand in the U.S. and around the world, they have sold out the Hollywood Bowl (two nights) and the Red Rocks Amphitheatre as recently as summer 2018. They have also sold out multiple nights at the Royal Albert Hall in London, Le Zenith in Paris, and Radio City Music Hall in New York, not to mention venues in Australia, Japan, and Europe. The program at Tanglewood spotlights music from their 2019 album Mettavolution.
