Popcorn Comedy with Tooky Kavanagh

You're invited to Popcorn Comedy: an intimate standup comedy experience in the Somerville Theatre's 30-seat microcinema! Our carefuly curated lineup of comedians have been featured on Amazon Prime, The Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory, The Second City, Don't Tell Comedy, and the New York Comedy Festival.

This month's headliner is the hilarious Tooky Kavanagh. Known for her razor sharp wit and abundant charm, Tooky always speaks her mind with honesty, charisma, and edge. She has performed at the Wilbur Theatre, the Boston Comedy Festival, and The Stand and shared the stage with national comedians like Maria Bamford, Dave Attell, Gary Gulman, Matteo Lane, Hannah Einbinder, and Eugene Mirman.

• Doors open at 7:00pm and the show starts at 7:30pm.
• Come early to watch classic cartoons on the big screen.
• Grab candy, popcorn, and fountain drinks at the theater's snack bar or bring your own!
• Outside food and drink are allowed in the microcinema (aside from alcohol).
• Beer and wine are available in the lobby.

Opened in 1914, the historic Somerville Theatre is conveniently located right next to the Davis Square T stop on the Red Line. Parking is available nearby. The microcinema is located in the basement of the theater. We can't wait to get things popping at the show!
