You're invited to Popcorn Comedy: an intimate standup comedy experience in the Somerville Theatre's 30-seat microcinema! Our carefully curated lineup of comedians has been featured on Amazon Prime, The Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory, The Second City, Don't Tell Comedy, and the New York Comedy Festival.


This month's headliner is the hilarious Josh Filipowski. Known for his sharp wit, clever wordplay, and endearing stage presence, Josh has appeared on NBC, Sirius XM Radio, The Hollywood IMPROV, Broadway Comedy Club, and New York Comedy Club. He has shared the stage with national headliners like Ali Wong, Amy Schumer, Hannibal Buress, Hassan Minhaj, Eric Andre, Sam Morril, Nate Bargatze, Michelle Buteau, and Kumail Nanjiani.

Opened in 1914, the historic Somerville Theatre is conveniently located right next to the Davis Square T stop on the Red Line. Parking is available nearby. The microcinema is located in the basement of the theater. We can't wait to get things popping at the show!
