On May 1st 2016, Dorchester will play host once again to Polish Fest Boston. A cultural festival held in honor of The Polish Constitution of 1791.
The festivities will begin with a parade at 12:30 PM from Our Lady of Czestochowa (655 Dorchester Ave) to the festival site at The Polish American Citizens Club (82 Boston Street). The festival will include delicious Polish cuisine, work by Polish artisans, speeches, and a historical exhibit on the Polish Constitution. There will also be a live cooking demonstrations from our official sponsor Krakus foods, live music and performances by the renowned Kasia Sokolla, and the world famous Krakowiak Polish Dancers of Boston. In the afternoon, Polish Hussars will be have a demonstration of arms from the period of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and then proceed into a combat reenactment against the Swedes of The Deluge!
Polish Fest Boston is a collaboration between The Polish American Congress of Eastern Massachusetts, The Polish American Citizens Club.
