deCordova invites all-level acrylic and oil painters to join this outdoor landscape painting workshop. Plein Air Painting is a French term meaning to paint the landscape outside, what could serve as better painting inspiration than the grounds of deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum?
Each class will be hosted in a different accessible part of the Sculpture Park. Artists are invited to select their subject matter and work independently. The instructor will provide one-to-one guidance and constructive feedback catered to each artist’s needs. By the end of class, artists should have a small finished painting of the bucolic landscape to bring home.
