Reading is what? Fundamental! Some of Boston’s best drag superstars are coming together to celebrate the launch of “Playthings: The Drag-A-Zine,” a one-of-a-kind zine that explores and celebrates Boston’s drag community. Featuring art, essays, poems, sketches, collages, photography, and more, this zine offers a unique look into Boston’s vibrant drag scene.
The evening will include a conversation with the zine’s artistic director Nadya Plaything and some of the zine’s contributors as well as performances by some of Boston’s most sickening drag artists. Get ready to be gooped, gagged, and gobsmacked by an evening unlike any other— oh, and don’t forget your tips!
