In case people need another reason to drink craft beer, Newton’s charitable restaurant and bar, Baramor, is brewing up inventive ways to consume in honor of National Beer Day this year.
All day long on Friday, April 7th, 2023, guests can enjoy beer floats at Baramor with a portion of proceeds going to charity. Offering a unique take on the old-fashioned root beer float, these specialty National Beer Day menu items will be in partnership with local brewery Distraction Brewing Company!
The beer float menu at Baramor will feature a variety of ice creams and Distraction beers to choose from. A few suggestions include: So Good, So Good, Soo Good orange creamsicle-flavored IPA with vanilla ice cream; Shady Queen Dark Saison with chocolate ice cream (Pink Boots collab with Bone Up!); and Summer Saison with fruit-forward sorbet.
Each beer float ($12) will include a 12oz pour on top of ice cream, served classic float style in a sundae glass. For every beer float purchased, Baramor will donate $3 to Pink Boots Society to encourage women and non-binary individuals in the beverage industry.
Reservations are encouraged, but not recommended.
