Richie Smith's Color Room is a multimedia experinece where live guitar playing controls lights spread throughout the room. Every note, chord, and key is programmed to be its own unique color, transforming the entire space into dynamic gradients that move organically with sound.


In this edition of Color Room, Richie will be interpreting the deeply personal and visceral works of Julia McGehean's "for you, no wound." In addition to using colors from each piece as a graphic score, the set will also play off the interaction of shadow and contrast with each sculpture.


The gallery is open to view works from 6:00-8:00, the show begins at 8:00.
