WomenExplore is celebrating its 50th anniversary as a lecture and discussion forum focusing on issues of concern to women from the personal to the global. True Story Theater is an improvisational troupe from Arlington, MA. This performance focuses on important, meaningful, and life changing stories from WomenExplore's 50 year history.
The True Story actors will listen deeply to each individual story and then spontaneously transform it into theater, portraying the heart of what they heard using dialogue, movement, music and song. From this simple interaction, people laugh, cry and experience surprising insights. Donations at the door benefit the Arlington Center for the Arts.
