“In a racist society it is not enough to be non-racist, we must be anti-racist.” -Angela Davis
On Sunday June 7th there were be a peaceful demonstration in Whitman. From 2pm-4pm we will hold signs peacefully and wave to people in our communities. The idea is show that our community does not support racism, police brutality and that we demand change. At 3:30 there will be a vigil for George Floyd and the many others that have been victims of racism. Bring electronic candles, flashlights, phones & we will end the night with remembrance.
