Party for PYD

"Party for PYD" is a flagship event for Partners for Youth with Disabilities (PYD) dedicated to raising program funds and awareness for mentoring.The party is a true celebration of our successes and partnerships with our guests.live and silent auctions, hors-d'oeuvres, refreshments, and entertainment. We are elated to welcome Kennedy Elsey of Mix 104.1 as our Master of Ceremonies.

Honorees:
We celebrate our chosen Legend Honorees for their strategic leadership as well a commitment to mentoring and inclusion for young people with disabilities. This year we are joyful to honor:
1) Steve & Nicole Puzzo. Steve Puzzo is a Partner in Mergers & Acquisitions Tax at PwC, and has been Treasurer of the Board of Directors of PYD for the past six years. Nicole is the Founder and Executive Director of Stepping Stones for Stella. They are parents of a thriving young child with a disability and bring their first-hand knowledge and passion to PYD and its members.
2) Vibhu Sharma serves as Co-Chair, Leadership & Mentoring Task force UNICEF Global Partnership for Children with Disabilities & Youth Disability Rights Coordinator, Commonwealth Youth Human Rights and Democracy Network. Sharma’s interests range from education, equal opportunity, social and peer inclusion and mentoring for the visual impaired. Moreover, she has represented the concerns of the visually challenged in several international conferences and represented India in the Fifth Session of State Parties to United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
3) State Street Disability Awareness Alliance. Their innovative and passionate work brings together the corporate world, people with disabilities, and non-profit organizations to ensure that young leaders with disabilities become members of the workforce.
