On April 5th, 2025, Boston Fencing Club (BFC) will host a free Parafencing open house event with special guests Tori Isaacson and Noah Hansen, Paris 2024 Paralympians. The event will include a para (wheelchair) fencing clinic given by BFC staff with Tori and Noah as well as a discussion panel hosted by Tori, Noahand their Paralympic coach, Eric Soyka. Parafencing is a multifaceted sport that improves strength, mobility, and flexibility, as well as focus and discipline. It is enjoyed by athletes with a range of mobility limitations including Cerebral Palsy, limb differences and amputation, impaired muscle power, and more. Parafencing is safe and appropriate for all ages, and we look forward to introducing it to the New England adaptive sports landscape.
The event is apporpriate for people ages 8 to adult!
