The Brookline Music School Faculty Artist Series features a distinguished collective of professional musicians who make up the Brookline Music School faculty. Each season, four concerts reflect the diversity of musical styles and interests our faculty contribute to our community. Join us this season to enjoy a range of jazz, classical, and Middle Eastern music performed by our talented faculty members and their guests.


On Sunday, February 5th, pianist Brian Friedland and saxophonist Andy Voelker, both BMS faculty members and kindred spirits, present a concert of original music and renditions of jazz standards with favorite bassist, Greg Loughman. In addition to teaching at BMS, both Andy and Brian are prolific composers and active participants in the Boston Jazz scene who host jam sessions and lead their own bands. Brian, Andy, and Greg have played together on numerous occasions over many years in different bands, and have developed the rapport of a long established group. We are excited for this Faculty Artist Series performance debut!
