Panel Discussion: What does it mean to have a home? (Virtual event)
Panelists: Museum Educator: Sayyara Huseynli and Artists Rebecca Wakim and Flor Delgadillo
Join artists Rebecca Wakim and Flor Delgadillo as they reflect on their experience with the perception of home, migration, and cultural identity. The artists will use their works displayed at the HCA's Lotvin Family Gallery "Displacement" exhibition to illustrate their discussion points. Sayyara Huseynli will address questions to cover all the conversation points and facilitate the Q&A session at the end of the panel.
Join the Panel Discussion to see outstanding forms of creative expression, hear personal stories of displacement and ask questions.
Disclaimer: Everyone is welcome to attend the event, regardless of their cultural, ethnic, gender, or religious identity. It will be a safe space to hear, share and celebrate diversity and representation.
THIS WILL BE A VIRTUAL EVENT (via Zoom). Upon registration, you will be sent an email with the login instructions and link on November 10th
