Beginning Monday, June 24, Cambridge’s New American trattoria in between Central and Harvard Squares, Pammy’s, brings back Aperitivo Hour to the lounge. Monday through Saturday (the restaurant is closed Sundays), Pammy’s will open at 4:30 p.m. and offer aperitivo specials and antipasti selected by Chef/Owner Chris Willis. Guests can expect to find items like fried scamorza, house pate, house terrine, dry-aged charcuterie, house mustarda, pickles, warm marinated olives, grisini and seasonable fruit, rotating daily at Chef’s whim. Bar Manager Rich Andreoli’s house cocktail list is a balance of aperitivo and original creations with seasonal classics. Start with a perfect daytime sipper like Negroni Biano or Spanish Steps, then take it up a notch with a summery classic like Pammy’s Gimlet or the Airmail. The menu will also feature a rotating Lambrusco selected daily by wine director Lauren Hayes, which on June 24th will be 2016 Lambrusco di Sorbara, Brut Rosso, Cantina della Volta, Emilia-Romagna.
