Roundtable is a series of gatherings rooted in food, community, and connection that brings together chefs, organizers, and neighbors for actionable discussion about social justice and mutual aid. Roundtable is a continuation of Pagu’s pandemic mission to bridge the gap between local organizations and locals. It is intended to model how restaurants can continue to serve as meeting points for a thriving community.
PAGU is proud to be partnering with Everybody Gotta Eat, a local organization dedicated to making connections over food, in launching July 23rd’s Roundtable. Our fourth Roundtable event will focus on a shared ethos that everyone deserves a seat at the table and good food on their plate.
This event features renowned chefs, founders, movers & shakers:

- Emmanuel Mervil (Everybody Gotta Eat, Cambridge, MA, @everybodygotta_eat)
- Kwasi Kwaa (Comfort Kitchen, Boston, MA, @comfortkitchenbos)
Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Roundtable Culinary Pilot Program in collaboration with the Boys II Men Program at the Moses Youth Center. The Roundtable Culinary Pilot Program will focus on the development of kitchen acumen, understanding how to manage a budget when grocery shopping, and providing exposure into job opportunities in the food and hospitality industry for these local teens. We have a shared vision of fostering the development of good-decision making and leadership skills as well as life-long learning in self-care, social responsibility and the importance of community.
