The Overcoming Obesity 2019 Conference is a leading medical conference and the only conference entirely dedicated to clinical obesity treatment education for physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other healthcare providers. The theme of the conference is Treating Obesity across the Lifespan, so the education focuses on the latest and most effective techniques for treating obesity in different age groups, genders, and socioeconomic populations, and in patients with complex obesity-related diseases.
The main conference event is the Fall Obesity Summit on Oct. 4-6. This course addresses high-demand topics like brown fat, women's health, weight loss plateaus, meal replacements, and cardiovascular safety of obesity medications. The course ends with an interactive case discussion to demonstrate how you can apply your learnings in clinical practice. Three pre-conference events will be offered: Building an Obesity Treatment Plan: Advanced Cases (Oct. 2-3), Review Course for the ABOM Exam (Oct. 2-3), and Obesity Medicine Practice Management (Oct. 3).
