The Rubin Brothers are back at City Winery!
They will be returning from their summer travels with a lunar jazz themed show of their favorite moon songs! Featuring local legend and Grammy winning 87 year old pianist, Phil Wilson!!
Real life brothers AJ Rubin & Colescott Rubin are time traveling musical entertainers with a whimsical flair for vaudeville & circus. They are known internationally for playing snappy originals & covers while unicycling, juggling, doing acrobatics, and other stage antics. They play sold out shows coast to coast for audiences of all ages, and just appeared on American Idol 2024. Past collaborators include several Grammy winners: Esperanza Spalding, John Legend, Old Crow Medicine Show, Patrice Rushen, Catherine Russell, Charmaine Neville, and others. They have performed across the US and around the world in Iceland, Russia, Spain, Argentina, Greece, Mexico, and elsewhere. They both graduated Berklee College of Music on scholarships and have also presented workshops there. Last year they played stadium shows as the house brass band for the major league rugby team of New England, and made their debut with multiple circuses in NYC.
