A Boston fan favorite, The 7 Fingers are back with a theatrical film that plays with the notions of poverty, power, and pleasure.


A digital circus where contact is forbidden. Theatres are empty. Artists are forced into the underground. Ten gloved and masked characters from all walks of life come together, clinging to their pasts as acrobats the best they can. Out of Order shows a stark future where artists are forced to meet secretly in forsaken spaces.


Past productions by The 7 Fingers at ArtsEmerson include Passengers (2019/20), Reversible (2017/18), Cuisine & Confessions (2016/17), Traces (2014/15), Sequence 8 (2012/13), and PSY (2010/11 & 2011/12).
