Somerville artist, designer, and percussionist Audrey Diallo paints moments and spirits. Her human vignettes and animal portrayals are odes to the meaningful and meditative rituals of daily life that surrounded her during several immersive visits to the West African countries of Guinea, Mali and Senegal. The peaceful elegance of caring and doing within cultures that are bound to the natural world and honored traditions inspired an artistic journey in expression which Audrey is sharing with the honeyjones audience. 


Join us to view Audrey’s work and take part in spirit mask-making, an African drumming performance, and an engaged community of neighbors and artists !!
