Join us on Saturday, August 31st from 3-5pm as we celebrate the opening of our Annual New England Regional Juried Exhibition with a reception and awards presentation. Meet the artists and enjoy an afternoon of art and conversation before finding out who takes home this year's top prizes! Beverages will be served.
The Annual New England Regional Juried Exhibition, this year running from August 31 - September 28, is a cherished part of the Guild's programming intended to recognize and celebrate the best of representational painting, drawing, and sculpture by New England artists working in the realist tradition. Designed to highlight the work of non-member artists, the exhibition provides a significant opportunity for them to exhibit their work and compete for prestigious awards. Bringing together the work of promising students, emerging and early career artists, as well as pieces from established professionals, the show is a celebration of the wealth of skill and breadth of vision in representational art across the region. This year, the Guild received the largest number of submissions in the Juried Exhibition's 18 year history. 192 artists from all over New England submitted 434 pieces for consideration!
