Open Newbury Street will return on Sunday, September 26, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Newbury Street will be car-free from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., from Berkeley Street to Massachusetts Avenue. The intersections of Exeter Street, Fairfield Street, Gloucester Street and Hereford Street will be car-free. The remaining intersections will be open to vehicular traffic for public safety access. Parking will be restricted beginning at 5 a.m.
As Boston emerges from the COVID-19 pandemic, Open Newbury Street provides exciting new opportunities for businesses to engage their customers on repurposed street space, and allow pedestrians to enjoy the full width of this famous Boston street.
