Introduction to Music Theory a.k.a. Music Literacy
Not for the faint hearted.
Music Theory is normally considered a weed out course for music majors, taught at unversity or conservatory.
Here, online, in Zoom, and through adult education, you will learn MUSIC LITERACY and discuss it with other interested adults.
This INTRO course is a pre-requisite to continue to HARMONY, MELODY, RHYTHM and other music theory courses.
It's ideally taken with intro piano course, which starts at 6 pm EDT same evening, or refresher course at 7:15 pm EDT.

- Hawaii 2:30 PM HST
If you already play the piano, you may want to take the REFRESHER course at 7:15 pm EDT or the PIANO II course on Monday evenings at 6 PM.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Anne Ku earned her teaching diploma in piano from Utrecht Conservatory (The Netherlands) where she received her music honors degree in composition. Her piano arrangements of Let It Go and other songs are freely available on the Web. She specializes in sightreading and improvisation, and arranging music for her students. See her class schedule.
