Once a month, we invite ukulele players and singers to get together for two hours online in ZOOM to see how far around the globe we can connect with our voices. The theme for June 21st is British Invasion songs, not including The Beatles, Rolling Stones, or The Who. It's more than three chords (which we reserve for our weekly Thursday song sessions).
All this is ONLINE and INTERACTIVE through the free app ZOOM, which you can download easily from the web. The one-hour song session will be recorded, made available to all participants.
For more information, please visit the Event Website and register via the link in the blog post to get access to the zoom meeting link and URL.
If you'd like to register for the new 6-week series of strum, bootcamp, or fingerstyle workshops, please visit the following website to book either a drop-in session or series.

ABOUT THE EVENT HOST AND INSTRUCTOR:
Based in Boston, Massachusetts but currently self-isolating in the rolling hills of Kent, known as the "garden of England", Anne Ku has moved all her face-to-face group classes online through ZOOM virtual sessions. Anne’s new book for complete beginners takes you from holding your ukulele to playing Iz’s “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” in ten steps. http://www.anneku.com
FEEDBACK FROM PREVIOUS STUDENTS:
Zoom uke classes with Anne were a light at the end of my day. There was a great connection in our group, in spite of the obstacles, tech bugs, and miles between us and I learned a lot of new songs! My technique improved a lot, even after the first session! I recommend it!
Just completed Anne's online 6 Saturdays Uke Bootcamp via Zoom. She's a wonderful teacher with positive energy. The Zoom setting worked well with lots of opportunity for interaction and feedback. Recommended!
Anne’s class is inclusive and encouraging. In addition to the technique, she offers terrific tricks for upping our style, jazzing it up, and makes all of it approachable, even for beginners.
I found online instruction to be helpful- especially with the materials and recordings being emailed after. The one thing I didn’t anticipate was finding a community of fellow uke players which has been fun!
