You can take this workshop as a series of six or on a drop-in basis.
Until June 7th, the drop-in rate is $20 per session or $99 for the entire series of 6. After this date, it's $25 per session or $125 for the entire series. Handouts and video recordings are e-mailed to all participants after each workshop to help guide your practice. Also offered on Wednesdays at 5:30 pm EDT. Visit the event website to register via eventbrite.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Based in Boston, Massachusetts but currently self-isolating in the rolling hills of Kent, known as the "garden of England", Anne Ku has moved all her face-to-face group classes online through ZOOM virtual sessions. Anne’s new book for complete beginners takes you from holding your ukulele to playing Iz’s “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” in ten steps. http://www.anneku.com
FEEDBACK FROM PREVIOUS STUDENTS:
Zoom uke classes with Anne were a light at the end of my day. There was a great connection in our group, in spite of the obstacles, tech bugs, and miles between us and I learned a lot of new songs! My technique improved a lot, even after the first session! I recommend it!
Just completed Anne's online six Saturdays Uke Bootcamp via Zoom. She's a wonderful teacher with positive energy. The Zoom setting worked well with lots of opportunity for interaction and feedback. Recommended!
Anne’s class is inclusive and encouraging. In addition to the technique, she offers terrific tricks for upping our style, jazzing it up, and makes all of it approachable, even for beginners.
I found online instruction to be helpful- especially with the materials and recordings being emailed after. The one thing I didn’t anticipate was finding a community of fellow uke players which has been fun!
