One Night Astrophotography

Living near a city it’s rare to appreciate a dark and star-filled sky. The BPW invites you to escape the city lights with us and discover an exhilarating type of photography.

With our experienced instructors at your side, you'll explore New England's coast and photograph the dark skies around iconic locations in Maine, Coastal Massachusetts and Rhode island. With guided instruction throughout the night, you'll gain the skills and techniques necessary to capture the stars. Join us and see how astrophotography inspires and enriches travel for so many photographers.

Established in 2014, the Boston Photography Workshops hosts in-person and online workshops catered towards those with minimal formal photography training. Our objective is to make your camera less confusing while providing fun and engaging educational experiences.

We’ve spent years perfecting our approach to teaching photography to everyday folks and here’s what we’ve learned:
