Tuesday, October 11th at 11:30 AM the Boston Public Market will unveil its eighth annual “Official Pumpkin of Boston" LIVE via a forklift from market vendor Red Apple Farm. The arrival of the trio heralds Wednesday's annual Harvest Party, a celebration and fundraising event to support the Boston Public Market’s mission as a non-profit organization.
ABOUT THE PUMPKINS:
This year's trio is all sourced from local New England Farms and generously donated by Boston Public Market vendor Red Apple Farm of Phillipston, Massachusetts. The largest pumpkin from Art Kazenski of Erving Massachusetts weighs in at 1773; the midsize pumpkin from Art Kazenski of Erving Massachusetts weighs in at 1269, and our baby of the bunch from Lou Chadwick of Swanzey New Hampshire weighs in at 773.
Throughout the season, don't forget to stop by our vendors to satisfy all of your fall cravings, including apples, cider donuts, and of course, apple cider. Everyone is invited to watch the unveiling and unloading of the pumpkin trio.
