Join us at Open House on Monday, September 17th from 5:30 - 7:30 pm for RSVP (No Regrets): a site-specific, free outdoor performance exploring access to movement and equitably designed spaces for and by differently-abled bodies, choreographed by Peter DiMuro.
Sit, stand, or roam the concrete ballroom as the performance unfolds. PDM’s company of intergenerational, differently abled-bodies invites everyone into the dance on their own terms. RSVP (No Regrets) is comprised of three 30-40 minute sections with 10 minute breaks in between, followed by Q&A with company.
Open House is a public art installation installation created by Los Angeles-based, Boston-born artist Liz Glynn, produced for Boston by public art curator Now + There. The installation and event are located on the Commonwealth Avenue Mall near Kenmore Square; the closest street address is 499 Commonwealth Avenue. The event is easily accessible via MBTA at Kenmore Square station.
Boston-based Peter DiMuro/Public Displays of Motion (PDM) makes dance and theatre, often translating the humane within everyday lives into performance with a company of dancer/collaborators adept in multiple movement and performance techniques and span an age-range of five decades.
