Come hike North Twin, South Twin, and Galehead Mountains (Grab 3 four thousand footers!). We will be traversing the mountains using the gale river trail and N twin trail. The drive between the 2 trail heads is about 15 minutes.

Expectations:

Enjoy this 11-mile traverse near Twin Mountain, New Hampshire. Generally considered a challenging route, it takes an average of 6 Hrs to complete. This is a popular trail for backpacking, camping, and hiking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day.


What to bring:

Waterproof hiking boots

Hiking poles

Non-cotton layers

Headlamp

1.5-2 liters of water

Snacks and lunch. You will be burning a lot of energy!

Positive attitude

1) I am not a guide and this is not a service - I expect you to be fully prepared with the gear listed below and the mindset that you could get yourself out of trouble if needed.

2) We stick together - this is a group event, so if you feel that you are not flexible in working as a team, this will not be a good hike for you.
