Satisfy your sweet tooth and learn about the fascinating history of the North End, Boston's oldest residential community and home to roughly 95 restaurants and 3 stops on Boston's Freedom Trail.
The North End is also home to some wonderful bakeries, each with their own unique characteristics and baked goods that they do best. The group will have tastings at 4 different locations while learning about the North End's rich history and its contribution to the growth of both Boston and America as a whole.
During this tour, we'll taste the following:
- Sfgoliatella from an underground bakery in a tucked away alley
- Tiramisu from a café with 33 different varieties of tiramisu to choose from
- Florentine cannoli from a 24/7 bakery that's been a North End institution since 1926
- Chocolate ganache from a family-owned bakery that's been on Hanover St since 1930
