In the late 1800s at Harvard College observatory -- long before the heroines of Hidden Figures made their contributions at NASA -- a group of "computers," aka women employed for half a man's salary to analyze astronomic data, proved that the universe was larger than anyone ever dreamed. The Women Who Mapped the Stars reveals the thrilling untold story of the five brave analysts who paved the way for previously impossible advances in astronomy. The Nora Theatre Company stages this world premiere by Joyce Van Dyke at the Central Square Theater in Cambridge.
