Heralded as one of the best winter light displays in Massachusetts, there’s no secret why the annual Night Lights event at New England Botanical Garden at Tower Hill attracts more than 50,000 guests from around the region.
At Night Lights, thousands of individual lights transform many of the botanic garden’s formal garden spaces and conservatories into a magical winter wonderland. Around every corner, artfully crafted displays make this memorable, one-of-a-kind light show the perfect opportunity for guests of all ages and backgrounds to celebrate the winter season.
No two years of Night Lights events are ever the same. Each year, the Garden’s Horticulture Team plans new features to wow visitors. One of the most popular attractions of the entire display is a 100-foot-long Rainbow Tunnel. This crowd-pleasing photo backdrop surrounds guests with thousands of brightly colored lights arranged in a rainbow sequence.
The magic of the Night Lights experience is enhanced with special displays like a model train and firepits for warming up, making s’mores, or enjoying with a cup of hot cocoa or an adult beverage. Night Lights attractions are inside as well as outside. In the Garden’s Visitor Center and conservatories, guests can experience more lights, enjoy snacks from the Café, and find the perfect holiday gifts in the specialty-curated Garden Shop.
Night Lights 2022 will be on display nightly from 4-10pm Friday, Nov. 25 through Sat., Dec. 31. During Night Lights, the Garden closes for general admission at 3PM. Night Lights tickets sell out quickly, so be sure to purchase well in advance.
Tickets go on-sale to the general public on Oct. 31 and to New England Botanic Garden members on Oct. 17. Click here for more information or to purchase tickets.
