Spend Saturday December 14th exploring Newton’s creative businesses and arts organizations the best way possible—by rolling up your sleeves and making your own art and crafts. Newton’s first Craft Crawl is a fun-filled day of making gifts, crafting holiday décor, and learning new skills. It’s when families, friends, couples, and crafty types can collectively flex their creative muscles, guided by Newton’s expert artists and craftspeople.


Craft activities take place at ten different locations throughout the city. From $5 silkscreen printing and bookmaking classes at Shepherd & Maudsleigh Studio, to gingerbread house holiday ornaments at Creation Station, glass mosaic-making and knitting lessons at Knot and Purl, Edible holiday trifle making at Third Space Kitchen--and that’s just for starters. Activities are designed for different ages and all ability levels, taking place throughout the day.
