NEEDHAM – Comedy, magic, music of all genres and more: New Year's Needham is gearing up for a full day of celebration Monday, Dec. 31, starting at 10 a.m. Eight venues around town will host a range of events, including the Tanglewood Marionettes, magic, storytelling and more for kids and then for adults, Jazz, Blues, Rock, Irish, Folk, Mentalist/Comedian, Caribbean, Rap, American Roots and more. Admission buttons are only $5. To kick up your heels and dance in the New Year head over to the famous Countdown Party at Powers Hall featuring the band to end all bands, The Family Jewels, featuring renowned saxophonist and flautist Paul Ahlstand.
