NLC board members and alumni will be hosting coffee hours from 6-7 PM on Friday Sept 9, and 10-11 AM on Saturday Sept 10, across the Greater Boston area. Check this map to find a spot close to you, and ask all your NLC questions!


The New Leaders Council (NLC) is a national non-profit that provides trainings across the country for progressive leaders of today and tomorrow. The free fellowship runs from January to June every year, with classes in Boston since 2009. One weekend a month (Saturday and Sunday) you will join some of the most dynamic leaders in the Boston area.


Fellows come together for cross-sector collaboration and shared learning. Participants leave the fellowship with diverse organizing skills, content knowledge to improve their advocacy work, information on how to fundraise, improve your messaging, and centering the community you serve.


Alumni represent diverse fields like education, social services, politics, community engagement, union organizing, philanthropy, housing, building/construction, renewable energy, immigration, veterans affairs, the arts, medicine, religion, reproductive justice, technology and more!
