Call it prairie noir or Canadiana desert rock: deCordova is pleased to present a concert with Abigail Lapell.
With haunting, gorgeous modern folk songs, Abigail Lapell’s albums have won two Canadian Folk Music Awards, reaching #1 on Canadian folk radio and over 13 million Spotify streams. She tours widely across Canada, the U.S. and Europe, performing on vocals, piano, harmonica and finger style guitar. Based in Toronto, Ontario, Lapell released her debut album Great Survivor in 2011. In 2016, she won the Colleen Peterson Songwriting Award for her song "Jordan". Stolen Time, her most recent album, was released in 2022. In addition to her Contemporary Album win at the CFMAs, she was also a shortlisted finalist in the Contemporary Singer of the Year category. Take a listen.

This concert will take place in the Dewey Family Hall located on the third floor of the deCordova Museum. Enter through the main museum entrance and staff will greet you and direct you.
