As part of their Community Performances & Partnerships (CPP) program, New England Conservatory (NEC) joins the Boston Public Library for this concert.
Formed in the fall of 2022, the Zephyr Quintet consists of Yechan Min (flute), So Jeong Kim (oboe), Hyunwoo Chun (clarinet), Andy Brooks (bassoon), and Yeonjo Oh (horn).
Previous schools they have attended consist of Yonsei University, Kyung Hee University, and University of North Texas. The group was selected as a winner of the NEC Honors Ensemble competition in 2022. As the Honors Woodwind Quintet, they have gotten the opportunity to play throughout the city for the Boston community as well as giving a full concert in Boston’s historic Jordan Hall. The group is very fortunate to have Boston Symphony’s Rachel Childers as their coach.

This program is presented by the Boston Public Library as part of their Never Too Late Group created with older adults in mind. Due to the ample seating available in the Rabb Lecture Hall, registration is not required; instead, seating is first come, first served.
