Ocean-related favorites playing on the big screen select Saturdays from July through October 


The New England Aquarium is screening ocean-inspired films for Cult Classic Movie Nights! Starting July 30, see cult classics as you’ve never seen them before, on one of the largest movie screens in New England at the Aquarium’s Simons Theatre. 

Pair a film with a visit to the Aquarium, grab a bite to eat and drinks at The Reef, and make date night or an evening with friends one to remember. Tickets for Cult Classic Movie Nights are $5 each, and all films begin at 7 p.m. 


July 30 – Sharknado – A freak storm brings hundreds of vicious, man-eating sharks ashore in Los Angeles, and a group of friends struggle to steer clear of their violent and destructive path.
