Come visit FABRIC and make your own fuzzy friend! Through the process of needlefelting you will be able to create a small creature or doll to take home and keep you company. You will have the option to explore and play using different fibers, materials, and wire armatures. Come with pictures of an animal, figurine, or other character that you would like to create or make one on the fly.


Fiber Arts Boston Resource and Innovation Center (FABRIC) is a community space founded in June 2017 for the advancement of fiber art in our community. Our users encompass all levels of experience – from very beginners to people running handmade businesses. At FABRIC we strive to serve a wide range of people by offering classes and workshops, a varied selection of tools, books, and notions. Everything in our studio is available to use with a Day Pass and visitors can browse our book collection, ask questions, sit and work on their projects, or wind a ball of yarn with our swift and ball winder free of charge.
