On the evening of Friday, September 29, NEADS World Class Service Dogs celebrates Get Dressed. Give Back., its annual fundraising event to support the organization and its array of Service Dog programs. Hosted at The Exchange in Boston’s Seaport, the festive, cocktail party-style event features exclusive shopping opportunities, a silent auction, an open bar with signature cocktails, and a seasonal tasting menu. There will be live music by Martin and Kelly, standouts in today’s crossover country music scene, and the MELT food truck arrives at 9 p.m. for a fun, late-night snack.
The very name of the event reflects the mission of NEADS and the incredible training the World Class Service Dogs receive by incorporating authentic commands the dogs are taught: “get dressed,” “give,” and “back.”
NEADS working Service Dog teams and Service Dogs in Training along with volunteer Puppy Raisers will be in attendance. NEADS is pleased to have Tiziana Dearing, Host of Radio Boston on WBUR, as the night’s Keynote Speaker. Fox61 News CT Anchor Keith McGilvery is back by popular demand as Presenting Host. Larry and Nanine Costa are the event’s lead donors.
The Exchange is a large, airy building with multiple indoor and outdoor spaces. The main gathering place is an open, three-story atrium. There is also a large tent on the water, as well an outdoor firepit and outdoor seating.
Individual event tickets are $150 each and Friends of NEADS tickets which include two tickets and your name listed on the program are $375.
